so, yeah, um, cuz, er, yeah....
Just thougt I would let you all know that I am still alive.
In fact, I've just been busy with work, travelling to Brasil twice, and other stuff.
Also, I am starting my masters in about 2 weeks. The thesis that is.... I've already passed two of my courses, and have the next two exams in July, but am turning in my contracyt this week, and that means I have from May15th till Nov 15th to write 50-100 pages on my thesis.
Which so far is:
An analysis of tv-media, their politics and language, and how that effects their veiwers if at all. The three medias choses are: The Daily show with Jon Stewart, CNN Headlines USA, and 60 Minutes.
Yeah, tall order.
But thankfully I have a really great advisor, who although he is leaving DK in august, will be roudn fro the preliminary stuff and then will be able to help me via email later on. And if I need assistance otherwise during the months that he will not be here, he has promised to hand me off to the man that was my second choice for an advisor, so that should all work out somewhat fine and dandy.
This means that although I will not be attending any classes from the middle of May and on, I will be working almost full time in order to aurvive without SU (which I intend on dropping) and working on my Masters.
Of course, given the "recent" amount of updates I have offered within the last year or so, this should have no effect whatsoever on the amoutn of updates that I post here. However, I would like to remind everyone that I am on facebook, and do check that a tad more regularly that I do LJ. And by that I mean that there rarely goes more than 3 days where I do not check Facebook.
So... yeah, that is the jist of it all.
