So instead of letting another 4 months pass before I updated again, I thought I would let you all know of the happenings a little sooner.

1. Getting ready for uni start on tuesday. I have signed on for four courses, which is double the load recommended for masters students. I just have been so bored over the past 3 years - too much idle time between classes and all. I guess IB really did a number on me. Perhaps if I'm busy with uni stuff I won't work as much either, which would be grand considering I am not allowed to earn too much more money - am hanging by a thin thread already.

2. Kasper and I are now living together. He asked me to move in with him three or four weeks ago, and last week we got all my crap and moved it here. The funny thing is, one would have thought that there would now be less space in his apartment, but my moving in set him off to by a differing dresser for the bedroom, one that created a lot more space, and then he painted the walls white in there as well. So the bedroom seems 3 times larger than it was before. Even my books (the whole lot) don't take up that much space as we found an ingenious solution with some shelves in a wonky wall section of the flat.  Now all that is left to do is clean the dorm room up, wait for the appraisal and hope I get my deposit fully refunded.

3. Had a bittersweet time at the VideoMarathon and BørneVideoMarathon. I loved the VM and it ran smoothly. I utterly despise the leadership for the kids version, as it was futile, thoughtless, and out of control. It's hard to be part of a team that knows exactly what they are doing when the leader who is supposed to guide us doesn't know what she is doing and then blames us for things she believes we don't have under control. And then calls us "sweetie" to our faces whilst stabbing us and backtalking us to others. Yeah.... Oh well, 5 more days till the awards show, and then all I have to do is write recommendations out for my fantastic volunteers.

4. On the other hand.. it hasn't been all bad. On one of the last days, David Fox, the grand poohbah of VM realised I spoke english as a first language, and had me write an email to some guy who had bought a domain name that legally is ours. He was so impressed he has now asked me to translate a presentation to the Ministry of Culture about a similair video contest thing, which deals more specifically with integrational issues. My first paid translation gig, Nice little thing to be able to add to my growing resume.

5. Nothing else really. Am so utterly exhausted by this so called vacation that I am actually looking forward to the ease and relaxation that is university.  And knowing that from now on I only have thursday night and saturday day shifts.

Oh, speaking of moving and all that, it reminds me - Foster's, can I have your address. There is a book in my possession that belongs to you. It misses it's mummy ;)

Lucky Charms!
