There is something wrong in the neighborhood...

And who am I gonna call? Nobody..

It is one thing that the snow and wind today created a hassle out of a class trip to Århus to see Innovation Lab and CAVI.

It is quite another thing that the snow and wind today, is about 2-3 weeks to early, according to my calender.

Granted, I was blessed in my childhood and teen years to have a birthday in November, which in the southern hemisphere is equal to great almost-summer weather, including sunshine, moderate to hot temps, and a general absence of cold.

It's not so much that since shifting hemispheres I have to deal with the fact that my birthday will probably coincide with horrible, dreary and depressing weather, apparently now I have to be prepared for SNOW. There has never been SNOW on that day before.

Since when (or at least since I moved here) does snow fall in the BEGINNING of November? Usually it begins in the middle to late weeks of the month. WTF MATE?!?!?!?!!!!!!

That being said, the trip today was fun. Despite the general 1½ hour tardiness provided by delayed transport, we managed to see both places, and the gadget geek inside of me really wants to work in Innovation Labs. Unfortunatly, being as poor-sighted as I excluded me from enjoying much of the 3-D stuff the regular sighted people got to see, but it was great to see what arte electronica can do.

Right. So I've been up since the unholy hour 5:30 and spent many many many hours train-riding and decoding norwegian (although the trainride did give me a free book, courtesy of the lady sitting across from me who finished her novel and didn't want to keep it, having too many books at home already) so I am going to pass out on the couch next to my already passed out wonder of a man, and sleep to the comforting sounds of Man. U. vs. FCK in Champions League.
