it was a rich , cultural experience
Midwood group meet at the Number # 2 train ( Flatbush Avenue stop) at 9:00 AM . Take number #2 to Clark Street . Walk to Brooklyn Promenade. Lincoln group meet at the F train ( Neptune Avenue stop) at 8:45AM . Take F to Jay Street . Change for A or C. Take one stop to High Street. Walk to Promenade. Meet at north end of Promenade at 10:00 AM . (Section of the Promenade closest to the Brooklyn Bridge .) - no such luck , turns out that the day before everyone decided that they werent going to meet there. i would've been really screwed had i not seen some kids from my school at the train station and ended up going with them.
and before we went to the bridge we saw these newlyweds taking pictures

Have lunch at food court and shop
and shop at century 21
i got a pair of vans and two t-shirts
its actually the first time ive went shopping in over a year - and i only spent around $50
well , not exactly . we stayed in the Egyptian exhibit for a while - but it got boring pretty quick . so we went to central park . josann wanted to visit strawberry fields [which was on 72nd , and we were on 86th , so it was a long walk] welllllll it turns out that after asking for directions like 8 times and walking so much - strawberry fields do NOT in fact have any strawberries. its named after a song by john lennon . which explains why all we found was a band and a group of people playing beatles songs. it was pretty nice. anyways i had one of those strawberry frozen fruit stuff so i guess that makes up for it.
oh and outside there was this crazy funny show these two guys put on. i recorded some of it but who know when i'll upload the video

so yea it was a pretty fun day. but damn i was tired by the rest of it[my feet hurt too]. i might go some other places with them [the key club members from both the u.s. and italy] but i dunno.
ETA - ive uploaded the video , its actually the secon video since they took longer with the show than i thought they would. its probably not as funny as i think it is but you had to be there
