Thank you for talking at me about the pen tool. I know it's the better option but I keep being too lazy to properly figure it out :p

yaaay! So glad you like it!:) Pen tool is really fun tool to play around with even thought sometimes it is a little time consuming, because paths might not look so good from the first attempt. But I still like it so much:)

Thank you so much! This was really helpful tip, especially about the red textures. They really make my work easier :D

"First of all choose 1-2 px soft brush (it depends on the size of the canvas you work with) and the color you want. Then go to Freeform Pen Tool and make Paths where you want colors to be, then choose Stroke Path option. Make sure that Simulate Pressure box is checked and the Tool you use is Brush."

this still confuses the hell out of me. lol.

I should have probably made step-by-step screencaps of this process to make it less confusing. I'll try to do it tomorrow:)

I agree. I tried this, but it did not turn into lovely lines of colour. It stayed looking like I had scratched out a line on my icon.
Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Then again, I newly have CS6 and am not used to it as well.
Figured it out.
THANK YOU OP. :) :)
