First Piece of Trim I Got: I can't quite remember, but it was 82 7/8 by too-thin by too-skinny inches. It was stock and I knew it wasn't right, but I didn't expect it to be as bad as it is.
Second Piece of Trim I Got: 1 5/8 X 1/2 X 82 7/8 inches. I got it explicitly cut to those measurements.
The Actual Measurements of the Trim: 2 1/8 X 1/2 X 82 7/8 quarter-round.
Why?
Because I measured the end that'd been snapped off.
And the piece I'm replacing wasn't quarter-round, but the rest of the trim is.
All of this aggravates me. I'd just glue the damn thing, but would have to buy the clamps and glue (btb, hardware stores for no good reason clsoe at 5), get a way to clamp it the long way, and get the scrap that's still on there off without obliterating it.
Fuck.
