Dem Monsters
First day is over at Son of Monsterpalooza. This Friday seemed much more chill than the Friday during the April show earlier this year. Much more freelance artists and less professional studios at this event. Wonder if that's what the show's organizers intended with this one. Kind of bummed that there wasn't a show room of props and sculptures like the last show though. Really enjoyed seeing the some of that movie magic up close! So far this show has the vibe of the very first Monsterpalooza.
Highlight of the night... Got to talk to Frank Woodward, the man behind the "Men in Suits" documentary for a good 30 minutes or so. This one other gentlemen and I was able to get an in person 1-on-1 commentary on the documentary while it was playing in the background. Guessing I lucked out here due to the event hall just being opened. Found Frank to be a very cool guy and fun person to talk to especially since we both kind of share the passion! Then again, everyone there does to a certain extent! Walked away with a decent load of swag from Wyrd Studios... awesome! :D
Now for some sleep. Day two awaits!
