october 22nd
today was great fun. totally unexpected fun. for some reason, kevin and i meet the weirdest / nicest / most influential people ever... at mcdonalds. there was of course the story of don, the man from the half-way house but now there is the story of the man who used to be cool. he approached us cautiously and asked us if we were in band. i thought that was pretty cool. being picked out of a crowd and all. haha, i am also a loser. he talked to us about old shows that he had been to and such.... this guy saw the mooney suzuki before they were the cool thing to see!
this is all well and good but it really made me happy, that there was another person out there who really enjoys music like either kevin or i do. if in fact kevin and i wer enot in a band or not part of this "scene" the man probably would have felt so rejected and would have walked away after that one question. like by us saying we were in a band he felt like he was part of somehting and had a connection with us. music does great things for the soul and mind.
so, after mcdonalds and gaining two mroe game pieces from the monopoly thing (hells yes bitches)kevin and i went back to my place to try out a recently purchased footswitch. we worked a bit on the song that was previously mentioned (your a funny man sully, i like you, that is why i am going to kill you last) this is like a ten minute song so, it was good that we worked out a few kinks in it. some great songwriting going down in the basement.
after a bit of that, i dropped kevin off at lindsays and then proceeded to work where i got off early! i called my love, daina, and it turns out that she was going to the mall so, i headed out and met her up there with lilly and lillies boyfriend as well. we had an exceptional time. afterwards was some more time with daina, i missed her since the last time we hung out.
i saw like twenty deer tonight!
