MMASM - UK Series - Updates
I’ve been meaning to make this post, but because I like to procrastinate, I haven’t gotten to it until now.
So anyways, I know a lot of us who watched the UK Series of MMASM may want to know what happened after the show ended in 2007.
So I've gone ahead & compiled some info and model portfolios for those contestants that I was able to find.
Note: Although they're only thumbnails, this post is still going to be image heavy so be warned.
Winner; Albert Mordue
Currently signed with: Select Model Management
On a personal note:
1. Albert: I think he looks amazingly better after the show and with his hair shorter like he currently has. On the show I really didn't have an opinion on him, but now definitely think that he deserved to win and has been doing an amazing job.
2nd Runner up: Luke Farrell
Currently signed with: Select Model Management
On a personal Note:
2. Luke: I think Luke should not grow his hair out because it just doesn't fit him. Sure it may limit the type of castings he gets, but the shorter cropped hair really suites him better I think.
3rd Runner up; Jen Hunter
Currently signed with: Excel Models
Previously with: Cape London Model Agency
On a personal note:
3. Jen: I love Jen, I think her face is phenominal and she can have diversity from being both commercial and high fashion. Initially after the show she was signed with Cope London and was actually able to get two campains through them (Nokkia and Avon), but left after her first year because she really couldn't get bookings for fashion shows, etc. She is now with Excel Models which is a plus sized agency.
4th Runner Up; Marianne Berglund

4. Marianne: What can I say about Marianne, couldn't really stand her on the show because she seemed to "detached" and "icy" but I think she deffo has the look for high fashion, although I think she can sometimes look extremely skinny.
7th Eliminated; Waz Ashayer

5. Waz..... well his childishness was annoying on the show at times, but he is GORGEOUS!!!!!!... those lips *sigh* and just...... yes, he's definitely done good for himself. He even got a campaign with Esprit.
5th Eliminated; Josh Murad

6. Josh: I think unfortunately Josh only has one specific look, which is that sort of tough guy look and doesn't seem to be very versatile. Not that having a tough guy look is all that bad as he seems to do it very well. Case in point, the last picture in this set. They try to soften him up, but it just doesn't look natural on him. Maybe if he worked harder on it, he might be able to pull it off, but idk......
Lastly: Unfortunately I could not locate any information on Sennait Adhanom, Anya James, Kerrie, James, Katie or Juno Namara. *sad*
