I noticed they mentioned that the cast actually "look like models" (which I'm guessing is a jab at America's Next Top Model) but there are a few that I think are on the same level as the contestants on ANTM. Don't get me wrong, I love ANTM but I think we all know that Tyra's casting is often questionable.

I remember also reading an article around the beginning of Cycle 10, with Jay (of Top Model) saying, "unlike other modeling shows out there, we actually know who can and will work". I don't like to give credibility to Top Model as the show, but Tyra's girls have been working far more consistently than Tyson's kids. Although I tend to like MMAS' "serious" format over Top Model's.

But, MMaS is a new show and they're booking solid runway shows unlike a very large majority of the ANTM contestants. Almost every model from the first season was signed; Tyra has yet to have that much luck.

I agree. The MMaS crew has a lot of fashion week coverage. Far more than ANTM.
