Ahiru
If Flynn had to give the award for biggest heart, Ahiru would win every single time. Despite the fact most of their interactions have been brief, she is definitely someone that he wants to get to know better. She is smart, beautiful, and kind and those are all the things that make Flynn want to look after her and watch out for her. Of course, he doesn't worry too much about her, but more about Fakir and how stressed he seems. Either that means that Fakir is extra stressed and needs to relax more or Ahiru is a hand full, but Flynn can't tell which exactly it is. It seems to be a combination of both.
He really would like to get closer and be able to help her out.
Alexiel
When Flynn found himself getting closer to Setsuna and Sara Mudou, he was quickly in contact with Alexiel. She is very straight forward and doesn't sugar coat things which the knight enjoys about her. Alexiel is definitely a breath of fresh air to the knight who is not used to many people being straight forward. Because of that he can enjoy conversation with her without having to worry to much about her trying to get something out of him or from him. The way she is so protective of Setsuna as well is admirable, and he has really come to enjoy and respect her company and when they chat. One of these days he will probably try and take her out with Kira, Setsuna and himself to see what type of person she is outside her element.
Allen Walker
While Allen tends to be a friendly individual, Flynn regrets that their paths do not cross more because both have their own little circles of justice that they try and maintain. It's not because he doesn't want to get to know the other better, but that's how people just have to maintain the spaces around them and split themselves. In a place like Atia, Flynn finds Allen's presence valuable, and due to the other being there it makes him rest easier because he knows there is one more person on the island watching out for everyone. It makes his patrolling go that much more smoothly.
Because of the first impression that Allen made on Flynn when they patrolled together, Flynn has always enjoyed talking with Allen about things over the network. He finds the way that Allen can reach out to so many people admirable, and even if he does the same thing, he values it in someone like Allen even more because he seems to have such an easy time with everything. Of course, he knows that there are obviously rough spots in there somewhere, but he hasn't really seen them. If Flynn were ever in trouble, third to Yuri and the others from his world, Allen would be the one that Flynn calls for.
Amaterasu
Flynn and Amaterasu have talked a few times. While they don't talk much, recent developments have caused Flynn to start worrying about her especially when she started to look for a nurses uniform. Now he feels that he needs to watch her so others don't try and take advantage of her. However, he knows that in a fight, Ammy can take care of her own and she seems very self assured. Even with her ears and sharp teeth, Flynn finds Amaterasu extremely cute, and wants to be able to pet her one of these days just because of her ears and how cute she can truly be. Of course, these are thoughts that the knight keeps to himself.
For now, he's just going to make sure no one else asks for sexy masturbation pictures.
Belial (The Mad Hatter)
Popping up and in and then disappearing again seems to be Belial's quirk, and Flynn accepts that. Not knowing more than the other is a jester, Flynn tends to keep more of an eye on them because he's not sure what to think about Belial at all. In fact, he doesn't even remember the first time that he was approached or talked to by the other, and the way the Mad Hatter ends up saying things leads Flynn to suspect there is something not quite right about the other. So, he continues to watch and heavily scrutinize anytime Belial makes contact with him. He's watching you Hatter!
Dirk Wahl
When they first met, Flynn was a little wary since Dirk said he was one of Kia's friends. However, Dirk proved himself to be someone that Flynn could easily relate to and talk to. While they don't talk too much, the other has left a lasting impression on him that Flynn hopes to get to learn more about in the future. He enjoys the other's company and talking to him on the network, so he will make sure to continue to seek Dirk out for some hang out time. Especially since the holidays are coming close, he wants to talk to him personally about his traditions and such as opposed to how things were in Flynn's world.
Euphemia Li Brittania
With the last few visits that Euphemia has made to the island, Flynn hasn't been able to be as close to her as he was in his first visit, however, this time is proving to be different. Euphemia heard about Flynn from a couple of his friends, and he happened to catch her introduction on the network this time. But of course, that isn't where his impression of her starts. The first time she was on the island, Suzaku had been in prison, and because Flynn was someone Suzaku trusted, he asked the knight to look after Euphemia until he was able to get out of prison.
This was however after their first meeting. During the first Halloween curse, a ghost had projected itself onto Flynn, and a man named Lancer had tried to kill him. Flynn had been holding his own, when the pink haired woman called for them to stop fighting. Turning his concern and attention towards her, Flynn went to warn her and was speared in the back. Euphemia then took him to the hospital where Flynn escaped from confines a week later. This left Flynn with a scar on his back that if possible he will never tell Euphemia where it came from again.
She was also his first woman, and so he holds special feelings for her. This time around he has decided to take a more active role and put himself back into her life. The feelings that he had for her the first time are still there, but they have turned mostly into a fondness for her as of now. We'll see where that takes them.
Fai D. Flourite
Having been acquainted with Fai on two occassions, this time Fai and Flynn have been closer than his first time on the island. Fai is a sweet heart and Flynn enjoys being around the other because he can constantly smile and be so cheerful that it acts as a pick me up. However, that being said Flynn can always see that there is something holding the other back from saying what he wants, or doing things that he should want to do or need to do.
One of those happened when Fai gave Flynn cooking lessons and his collar was so tight that the knight offered himself to Fai in order to literally save his neck. Because the other seemed so reluctant and so scared of the act, Flynn felt horrible for him and tried to help him out as much as he could. This forged a deeper bond between the two, and so now they enjoy each other in more of a platonic type setting. While Flynn thinks Fai is attractive, he doesn't necessarily want to have a sexual relationship with him because it was hard enough for that first time.
Of course, that doesn't stop him from being there for the other when he wants to talk about his own problems with those from his world or just on the island.
Fakir
This is the one person that Flynn feels could use more relaxation than him. When Flynn can say that about a person, that shows just how stressed out Fakir seems to the knight. Of course, he can never tell if it's because he's nit picky or because he has Ahiru to look after. The knight thinks that there is more than meets the eye to Fakir, and he knows that while he seems to be a very cold and serious person, that with someone like Ahiru around him it's probably just how he deals with others that he doesn't know. He can understand that given the situation that they are all in, but he does really want to mentor the other and teach him some more, also to make sure he doesn't keel over from all that stress.
Franz d'Epinay
Having always been on good terms with Franz, Flynn has always had a good opinion about him. Their interactions were few and far between until after the marriage curse. Seeking something new and something closer to negate the emptiness that the curse had left him in, Flynn reached out to the other. It surprised him however with Franz reached back, and their relationship instantly became close and better than it had been previously. Flynn feels a tender affection for the other that he's not sure he should pursue or not, so for now it's a wait and see.
However instead of waiting to see things develop naturally, during the most recent powers event Flynn found himself in bed with Franz after he escorted the other home. He had been intending to just get water, but something happened and they slept together, this has left the knight with conflicting feelings about what is going on between them. But, instead of speaking up, Flynn has chosen to remain fairly silent about this development in order to spare Franz any feelings of discomfort.
Gareki
For lack of better wording, Flynn thinks Gareki is a brat, but a lovable brat nonetheless. He enjoys flustering the other and seeing him back step. He's like the mischievous little brother Flynn never had, and Flynn enjoys seeing what he tries to cook up. Of course, it makes the blond laugh at how stubborn Gareki can be when he's trying to troll someone or make them believe something completely different from the truth. He tried to make Flynn believe that he was outside his house when Flynn was in an exhausted state, and ever since the other has been trying to play tricks on the knight.
It's nothing compared to what he went through with Yuri when he was little however, and so Gareki's attempts fall painfully short and make the knight reminisce about childhood somewhat. But, he still has a fondness even if the other isn't quite as receptive of Flynn as Flynn is to Gareki. Maybe one day they can have a real conversation without the other trying to trick him.
Gino Weinberg
Being tall himself, Flynn never expected to find someone that was taller than him. So, it was a surprise when Gino showed up on the island. Hearing that the other was a friend of Suzaku's and that he was also a knight, Flynn quickly made friends and found Gino's always optimistic character very refreshing. Being fast friends and also enjoying just talking, Flynn was sure that the other couldn't possibly make bad choices. However, that all changed when Flynn was on duty and a post came over the network showing Gino accidentally injuring and killing his boyfriend at the time in an attempt to get the collar off.
Flynn was one of the officers that picked up Gino. While Flynn knew it was an accident the other still was given a record with the police. Later, Flynn was responsible for getting Gino a job, and overseeing his probation and partially he accepted to make sure the other didn't do anything stupid again. When Flynn left the police force however things became strained because like the others Gino didn't understand why Flynn had just stepped down as he had, it put a strain on the friendship that slowly went back to normal and during a time of need Gino stepped in to help Flynn with his collar.
His impression stayed the same however until a fight in October had Flynn lose his temper. The other's view of knights is not something that Flynn accepts, but after the initial anger, he just chose to agree to disagree. Now he feels really guilty about the fight, and watches the other from afar in order to try and make it up to him in some small way.
Greed
Flynn's second boss. Flynn first started working for Greed when Judith and Estelle decided to go to work for him. He does the bouncer work and also buses tables and generally tries to keep the peace in Devil's Nest. Greed is someone he doesn't even have a clue that he's a bad person because he just runs the place and stays out of the way. Of course, this hasn't stopped Flynn from wanting to get to know the other better and have a closer relationship with him. Purely platonic of course, but still a relationship of some sort where he can figure out what type of person Greed is.
He is the only person that has ever been able to inflict a banishment on Flynn from his job due to the other women who work there also worrying.
Iva
Having met by chance through Gareki's trying to trick both Flynn and Yuri on a certain network post, Flynn quickly came to like the other. Being a strong woman who knows what she wants Iva is always constantly surprising the knight with the way she does things and how she copes with being on Atia. She doesn't take anyone's crap, and so that makes her even more fun to be around because she doesn't need Flynn to take care of her and makes him feel relaxed when talking.
They share an equal task of watching over some troublesome people that have come from their world, so it's fun to get together and talk about their friends and stories about Yuri. His relationship has progressed farther to where she is one of the few females he would consider sleeping with if she needed help.
Of course, she has also gotten onto him for not relying on her, which surprised Flynn. He enjoys her surprises and their time together so thoroughly that he would probably be upset if she were to leave the island any time soon.
Kain
A sex therapist. Flynn isn't sure what to think about the other or his profession, or the fact that he wants Flynn to open himself up and confide in him. He's still trying to grasp even that there is such a thing as a "sex therapist." The knight got caught by the other and was forced to rest during the most recent return of the powers. It was here that he saw Kain as Aya, and that shook him to the core. But instead of disliking Kain for what happened, he almost feels bad for the other. For now it's just a wait an see game on what will happen between Kain and Flynn and who will give first to the others idea. Both seem very stuck in their ways so this might take some time.
Kazutaka Muraki
When Flynn was on the police force, one of his main cases was to hunt down the serial killer that was going around the streets of Atia. After Flynn left the force Muraki was apprehended and convicted of those murders. This leaves a very sour taste in Flynn's mouth when he looks or even talks to the other. In an effort to get more information and try and figure out if the Doctor was up to something else, Flynn went into a doctors visit, partially because he knew that Muraki would keep it a secret. He also went to get additional information, but instead left with a feeling of dread.
After this, Flynn had nothing more to do with him except for a few simple words here and there. He didn't want to associate with the other. However things changed when Muraki disappeared. Flynn had hoped he was gone for good, but unfortunately the other came back. This was when Flynn learned that Muraki was dead back in his world, and so he felt bad for saying that the other was better off back home, but only out loud. Flynn is convinced that Atia would be safer with him gone.
But, recently Flynn asked for a favor from the goddess and the payment put him at the mercy of the doctor. It will be a long time before he can get the bitter taste out of his mouth and remove the traces of Muraki from him physically and emotionally. If anything it made him dislike the doctor even more.
Kia WelBehenna
From the get go, Flynn was wary of Kia. He didn't understand the other man and how he could be so open about sex. But, as soon as the blond figured out that Kia was not a threat to those around him, he relaxed a little more and didn't have to keep an eye on him. It was only by chance that during the heatwave curse that Flynn and Kia ended up sleeping together, but ever since then Flynn has found himself watching and conversing with the other. He doesn't think that Kia is a truly bad person, but he does think of him as being a little over sexed and in need of some nice strong celibacy. It might even him out! However, Flynn would never voice this since it's not his choice.
Kira Sakuya
In a period when Yuri had disappeared off the island, Flynn was grateful that he met Kira. The other filled the void that Yuri had left, and while Kira could never replace Yuri, he did however get the knight to loosen up and relax. Being one of the only people that could find a way to get Flynn to settle down and go out, Kira fast became someone that was able to relieve the tension in the knight. During the kink curse however, after a day of sparring a spiked drink changed things between Kira and Flynn, and the knight noticed something darker about his friend.
Confused about this, Flynn wasn't able to do much about it because Kira left the island. However it wasn't long before he was back, but the other hadn't remembered Flynn. Or so he thought. After finding out that Kira had lied, the wounds left from his own world were aggravated open and Flynn became upset. Had it not been for the other getting lost in the woods there would have been serious consequences, but after being softened by Setsuna's guilt and frantic searching, when Kira did return back Flynn found himself forgiving the other. However, Kira was warned that if he did anything like that again he would have to answer to Flynn. So Flynn has a firm eye on Kira no matter how warm he might come off to the other.
Kyoya Ohtori
Kyoya is constantly a person that Flynn keeps on the back of his mind. Ever since they met, Flynn has always tried to show the other that not everyone has to gain something from interactions. Flynn had a suspicion there is a good heart in that chest, or else he would have given up watching after him a long time ago. During the previous powers event, Flynn was proved right when Tamaki was murdered and Kyoya flipped out.
Of course, Flynn went out and was killed, but he was able to finally bring Tamaki's killer in at the end of the curse. As promised the knight even took responsibility for the chaos and stepped down in order to help the police department facilitate a new change. He didn't gain anything from it, but he wanted to show Kyoya that he didn't want to gain anything. They are still distant of each other, but Flynn likes to think that one day they can actually be friends.
This may take some time.
Lucy
This is a person that Flynn wishes wasn't on the island. Period. She is dangerous and someone that even at his peak Flynn couldn't best. But, if he had to he would go against her again with her powers intact to save anyone from her. The scar on his chest will forever be a testament to how dangerous she can be. However, Flynn also recognizes that she does have a deep hurt in her, and so just like with anyone else that has wronged him on the island, he does keep an eye on her and offer her opportunities to try and change if he sees her about to do something dangerous to others.
This is one of the few people Flynn wouldn't hesitate to kill if they were about to hurt someone in front of him. But, hoping for the best, Flynn holds on to the belief that things won't get that far.
Miles Edgeworth
Edgeworth has always been a part of Flynn's life ever since he showed up. From being a tutor at first with teaching Flynn more about the legal system of Earth to working for the law enforcement on the island, Flynn has always looked up to Edgeworth. This morphed from just feelings of admiration into something more akin to tender feelings that could have turned into love. However, before they had more of a chance to connect, Flynn left the police giving up his post as captain to show the "commitment to change" that the native police force wanted. After working a stint as a manager at a bakery, Flynn quit and was hired by the other as Head of Security at the Monte Cristo bank.
They stayed friends, and Flynn's tenderness for Edgeworth took on more of a sensual and personal nature after he slept with the lawyer. The knight found himself very attracted to the other, but because of personal issues and the fact that he came to work for Edgeworth, Flynn pushed himself away and lost out on being able to become closer with the other. He regrets this, but has decided to watch over him instead of being upset over his own blunder. Even now there is a line of unresolved sexual tension in Flynn towards the elder man.
Mitsunari Ishida
This guy came literally from no where and started to criticize Flynn for absolutely nothing. What this left on Flynn's impression is that he is almost if not more anal than Flynn himself. Of course, since they've only really talked once, Flynn has decided that the other would be interesting to follow. He can't be that way to everyone can he? At least that's what Flynn's logic is for sticking with watching him. Not only that, but because Flynn admires the strictness in some odd way and thinks the other is holding himself back in other areas as well.
Maybe he can loosen up this guy eventually.
Oerba Dia Vanille
As much as Vanille worries about Flynn, the vice versa is also true. Flynn has never met a woman that has been this stubborn with him. But, seeing as how she seems to calm down and listen when he sends Yuri to go to her, Flynn thinks she has somewhat a crush on his best friend. Therefore any feelings he has for her are platonic and he views her as a little sister. He also finds it amusing that she tends to take Yuri's side on whatever issue is being argued, but that's okay since most of the arguments tend to be of a joking nature anyway.
She's a bright ray of sunshine, and Flynn worries that she is going to do something to put herself in danger in order to help someone. To so hopefully negate that, Flynn ends up feeling bad for pestering her sometimes, but he knows it's for the best. Especially since Yuri seems to also be very fond of her, Flynn would do anything to protect the other and that includes nagging someone that he feels has the tendency to be reckless like his best friend.
Okita Souji
After talking a few times, Flynn finds relief in Okita's attitude and words. He's constantly telling the other not to worry about home. That seems to constantly be on Flynn's mind however, but the words ring true so the guilt that Flynn feels eases off somewhat after they talk each time. Okita is also one great sparring partner that Flynn is thankful to be able to practice with when the other has time for it. He's one of a hand full of people in Amat that can absolutely knock Flynn on his ass. So, learning and getting stronger is something that Flynn is glad he can do with him.
If he was ever in a bind, Flynn would be the first person to help him out if he asked.
Raven
Having always looked up and idolized Captain Schwann when he was younger, it was a shock to the system for the knight to have his Raven show up on the island. From the get go he was happy to help the other out, and he didn't really have much to say or question about him. As time wore on however, Flynn began to grow up and change. Regaining his memories of being a captain, Flynn then started to treat the other as a mentor.
It was nice and everything for a while, but then again Alexei showed up and messed things up. The last time Alexei showed up, Flynn ended up getting into an argument with the old man, one that he regrets because it led to him being used by Raven as a potential suicide tool. Flynn sometimes still has nightmares about nearly killing the other. He only told Yuri about what Raven did, and even still feels slighted when he thought he had a good relationship with the other.
However, he got over it as soon as the Seven Deadly Sins curse came around. Being that he was greed, Flynn ended up going to talk to Raven and sleeping with him then. He's never since brought that up, and the old man never acts like it happened so he goes along with it. Flynn is thankful to have him as a father figure type as well for times when the other can remind him that what he's doing isn't necessarily the best path for everyone involved. This was also the case recently in October with his fight with Gino. Flynn respects the other enough to sit down and listen even if he might not like what the other is saying.
In short, the young knight adores the older one. Although he wishes the other would quit telling everyone he's gay especially since Raven himself has frequent male partners.
Sawako Kuronuma
When he first met Sawako, Flynn had been very worried about how she would survive in Atia. His first impression of her was that she was fairly innocent, and that she would have a lot of trouble adjusting. This made him instantly protective of her, but because of her kind nature and good luck at surrounding herself with strong people, Flynn focused more on getting to know her. He liked what he saw, and thinks she has a very big heart for someone that is so timid.
While they don't talk too much, Flynn enjoys their conversations together. He just hopes that the Goddess is merciful and takes her back home since she doesn't deserve to be there, like most of the people put on Atia. He wouldn't hesitate to come to her rescue however if she needed him and the others couldn't be there.
Sayoran [Clone]
A very nice young man that Flynn loves to spend time with. He enjoys when the other comes over and hangs out with the others and helps him do the garden and backyard chores. However, Flynn thinks that being that nice all the time could cause problems for him in the future. But, knowing that Fai is one of the other's companions, he trusts both of them to look out for each other. Over all, Flynn just worries about Syaoran and how he is fairing since he really doesn't feel it's his place to ask. He wishes that Syaoran would talk more about himself too.
Setsuna Mudou
Having found Setsuna right after Kira left, Flynn was able to keep the other strong and also help heal his own void that the other's best friend had left. It wasn't soon after however that Setsuna and Flynn hit it off. With Sara in the forest, Setsuna had neglected his collar to the point that Alexiel had stepped in to interfere. Having sympathy and feeling a sense of responsibility to look after Setsuna in Kira's place, Flynn offered himself and the two slept together.
This forged a friendship and brotherly bond between the two that carried on with the other moving into the house with Flynn. In Flynn's eyes the other is like a younger brother that actually listens and therefore isn't all that bad as he tries to make himself out to be. Unsure of the relationship between Sara and Setsuna, Flynn just accepts it and enjoyed the company of both until Sara was taken from the island. After this, Flynn became more protective over Setsuna even with Kira back in the picture. He enjoys the others presence in his home and in his life.
Shion Uzuki
Another one of Flynn's roommates. Flynn enjoys having her around because unlike the others Shion seems to be very down to Earth. She does what she's supposed to, and then does her own thing. Of course, he would love to get her out of her room more and interacting with people, but she seems to be happy and Flynn can't really argue since she's one of the ones that cooks the meals. He also feels like she has a good head on her shoulders and he respects her and her words when she tells him he needs to eat or do other things.
She reminds him of a secretary and sometimes a little bit like his subordinate Sodia from back home.
Siesta 410
One of the many of Flynn's room mates. He felt bad seeing that she was so lonely and decided to offer her one of the rooms he had opened. Flynn has been glad to have her around, and even though she puts up a brave front the knight knows that it does her good to have lots of people around. It's one of the many reasons he let her have a room in his home. She's energetic and he really appreciates that she doesn't get onto his case about things.
Although she teases him, Flynn enjoys that and enjoys her company within the house. She's good at everything she does around there, so he has no complaints or bones to pick when it comes to her.
Sora Hashiba
Sora is Flynn's little brother. He feels the most responsible for and protective of Sora since he knows about the struggles the other has faced. Sora chose Flynn to open up to, and Flynn takes that really seriously. He's watched over the blue haired male and continues to do so at length. Sex was never really part of the relationship until something happened and Flynn ended up sleeping with Sora, afterward he felt really guilty. But, he was able to move past that especially since he didn't want Sora to beat himself up over that.
Instead of leaving well enough alone however, Flynn started to have the other sleep over with him shortly after the accident with Raven trying to kill himself occurred. It worked for both of them in the way that Flynn couldn't sleep and having to make himself to settle down and take care of someone put him in a position to take a breather and actually rest. Of course, things didn't say this simple. Sora was put in jail for murder, and Flynn blamed himself for not seeing the signs or being able to stop it.
So instead of abandoning the scared man, he embraced him and allowed him to move in. After that things have been peaceful, and Flynn has been happy to have the other living with him and in an environment where Sora doesn't feel like he's constantly being judged. However, being as dense as the knight is, he has no idea that Sora has developed feelings. This may or may not end in disaster for both of them.
Spada Belforma
Spada reminds Flynn of a stray cat. Very inquisitive and ready to investigate if something looks interesting, Spada seems to be the type of person that Flynn tries to protect. The other pinged him, and of course he appreciates having more knights on the island, so Spada is definitely someone Flynn wants to get to know better. He finds it really cute when the other asks him questions, and the way he talks always puts a smile on Flynn's face.
Susumu Yamazaki
If it hadn't been for the marriage curse, Susumu and Flynn probably never would have crossed paths. But there is that connection now of the memories of their marriage that Flynn finds hard to cope with, but has learned to just accept and move on. The other was a patient and loving "wife" and obedient that Flynn worries about the other constantly, although silently. He seems to be the type of person that if his superiors told him to die, he would. That worries Flynn because there is a sensitivity that he was able to sense in him, and that he wants to help the other, but there is nothing to help.
As a testament to the lingering effects of the curse, and also to remind him of how helpless they were, Flynn continues to wear his ring on a chain under his shirt. Yamazaki was the reason that Flynn started to feel lonely, but combats with it since he is also one that cannot have a happy life because there is too much for him to do. So, he now finds himself understanding and silently sharing this same banner with the other.
That however doesn't make Flynn any less awkward when they talk.
Travis Touchdown
Not usually the type Flynn is drawn to friendship or otherwise, it started when Flynn turned into a woman during the last gender-swap curse. Travis immediately picked up on the knight's discomfort and hit on him. Flynn issued a challenge to Travis as a woman saying that if Travis could catch him, that he could do what he wanted if he could beat Flynn in a fight. However, Travis never found him.
After that, Flynn started to enjoy the way that Travis was with others and saw him as a light hearted person he could talk to and slowly open up and joke around with. During the heat wave event, Flynn felt guilty since he ended up walling Travis in an alley and looked for a way to try and make it up to the other, but things happened and Travis ended up in jail for murder.
Flynn felt guilty about that, and still does thinking there was something he could have said or done to prevent the other from being pushed so far that he murdered someone. Of course, since then Flynn hasn't been able to talk to Travis as much, but he still keeps in mind to check in on the other every once in a while.
Vincent Nightray
Vincent is an interesting individual. Flynn never quite knows what the other wants from him or expects, but Vincent is a pleasant person to be around and talk to. Had he any other reason so suspect something was foul between them, he'd back off. Vincent always seems to pop up at the weirdest times into his life, and he seems to have different tastes.
At first, Flynn thought the other was like plain nobility, and so he wasn't sure if he should be wary or not. Since neither has talked of home much, Flynn just thinks it's better to assume that he should be a little careful and not open up right away. However, seeing cracks in Vincents mask when Gill left, or when the other seemed to need someone gave Flynn the impression that Vincent is very lonely. However, there is still a great deal that he wishes to learn about Vincent before casting any sort of judgment on him. After all, he hates when that's done to him.
Xion
The innocence is strong in this one. From the first time they met, Flynn has always had a gentleness towards Xion and her personality. She seems to be genuinely inquisitive and wanting to learn, which Flynn finds admirable. While he doesn't know much about her background or where she came from, Xion is a little light that has the potential to shine on those around her and that gives the knight a reason to watch over her. He doesn't want to let something happen to her that might corrupt that, so she has been adopted into the slowly growing flock of younger men and women that he wants to help give guidance and protect.
It's also refreshing that she seems to understand that when Flynn says he's fine, he's not doing it to worry her, but because he really is okay. However he feels guilty when she gets worried. She's another person that he wants to keep safe.
Yeager
The last thing Flynn remembers before his memories go blank and his time in Atia continued on was when Alexei betrayed the knights and then told Yeager to kill His Highness Ioder. So when Yeager showed up, after realizing who he was, Flynn quickly drew the line between himself and Yeager. Of course, with the complicated relationships that everyone had with the other, Flynn was at least glad that Yeager was on Atia and not on his way to hurt Ioder.
Of course, he thought the other was creepy and in a way slimy with the way he talked and operated, and had no qualms about sharing this information with Yeager himself. However his view of Yeager changed during the Seven Deadly Sins curse when Yeager and Flynn ended up sleeping together around three or four times that night. After the curse ended Flynn was mad for himself as it had caused a lot of trouble between him and Yuri, and also him and Raven.
As for now, Flynn just keeps a small watch on him which isn't so much a watch as making sure the other is being nice to Raven. After all wouldn't want something to happen to the old man. So while he dislikes Yeager, he still would rather have the other where he can keep an eye on him.
Yuri Lowell
Third time's a charm! With Yuri back on the island for a third time, Flynn wasn't sure how he was supposed to react to that at first. However, the other ended up sleeping with Flynn after Flynn invited him over and the other saw his neck. Yuri seduced him and then made sure his friend knew that this wouldn't be acceptable. This was also where Flynn told Yuri that he had died before on the island.
Little did he know the impact that would have later. While they fell in step and became close once more, Flynn constantly worried the other would become restless and cause trouble. However before the other even could the seven deadly sins curse happened. Flynn had been caught on the network sleeping with Yeager, and Yuri filled with the sin of wrath came and busted down his door and then forced the other to sleep with him not once but twice all but wounding Flynn emotionally and hurting Yuri even worse.
At that point, Flynn accepted it and helped Yuri to accept it but because of the way it had happened, Flynn didn't let Yuri touch him in any way until after the marriage curse. The other kept him on task and focused him, for which Flynn was thankful. Now that Yuri is the owner of Just Desserts again, Flynn's sense of worry has multiplied by a dozen fold.
He's already making arrangements to be able to make sure the other doesn't accidentally burn the business down. Of course, Flynn holds Yuri closer than anyone else because of their friendship and promise and would definitely pick him over anyone else if he had to choose. That's just how they roll.
Zelman Clock
Zelman is probably the one that gives Flynn the most trouble on the island. Their history started soon after the knight needed to have his collar loosened, and everything went down hill from there. Bodies were burned, people were hurt, and Flynn rushed off in his rashness to go and apprehend Zelman. Of course, the vampire had other plans and because Flynn was off of his element and confused to the others motives, he ended up being bested. Instead of killing Flynn, however, Zelman let him live but he humiliated the knight by forcing sex onto him after his defeat.
Things were tense for a time, but instead of letting the other get to him, Flynn continued to press on. He watched and waited and observed the other on the network. After a while, they spoke again, which surprised the vampire. A connection had been made on the knight, and he felt it was his job to try and save Zelman. At first there was a lot of distrust, but as he got to know more about the other Flynn slowly eased up.
However, a spark was light and Zelman indulged in this spark and Flynn slowly followed. After all his main goal was to help the other change, but instead Flynn ended up changing. Being on the police force, and Zelman a constant target, it forced the other to take a look a hard look at himself. Slowly realizing that his uncompromising ways were what was the problem, Flynn eased up and started to change. With this change it can be said that Zelman is actually attributed to the other calming down and being able to talk with others on a different level. But, that only went so far.
Zelman ended up breaking Flynn's trust and then disappearing from the island. Angry, and very much fed up with the other, Flynn was glad that he was gone. He then proceeded to show up twice more. The second time he couldn't be angry because the other didn't remember what had happened, but Flynn slowly accepted that he couldn't punish the other for not remembering. However, the third time it was the other Zelman. They haven't talked much, but because of what he learned from the second Zelman, Flynn can't really hate the other. Instead he sees him as a lost young man that needs guidance, but he's been keeping his distance and watching. Unlike others Flynn sees Zelman as human instead of a monster, and because of Yuri's mistakes he's able to move slowly past that to try and extend a hand. But, it's going to take a long time for them to be back to where they were.
