our first win in a long time
ok so me and ken went to downtown and met up w/ our friend kai and we finally found a free student parking lot, except it was not the main lot so it was mostly older people so there was no madness going on there, we were right next to the projects but it wasnt too bad, we chilled in the back of kai's truck and listened to some of the other games on xm for a little while...
we finally went into the citrus bowl like 30 minutes b4 gametime and it was crazy, they gave everyone thundersticks so it was so loud in the student section in the south endzone. all the freshman were wearing their freshman frenzy shirts and they went out onto the field during halftime lol, alls i have to say about them is that we have the dumbest fucking freshman in the USA, they would not stop beating the dam thundersticks when we were on offense, we were making it so hard on our team to hear the play but on the other hand we were soo loud when marshall was on offense and they had like half a dozen false starts which was awesome
we forced 2 ints and 2 fumbles and we looked pretty good on defense which was suprising, our kicker has a mad leg, he kicked 3 fieldgoals they were like 42, 48, and 50 yards, and he had enough leg to make a 60 yarder
we won the game against marshall 23-13 and it was our first win in 17 games so everyone was really pumped up, since ucf never wins any games they had minimal security on the field so everyone bum rushed the field once the game was over, the cops were blocking the stairs so everyone jumped over the fence and it was like a 8ft jump, i made it down there pretty quick and we brought down the field goal post pretty quick, im suprised cuz we havnt had much practice with that ever, so after that baby came down we carried it across the field, i was carrying the right upright it was so amazing, i finally found everyone else outside the stadium and we all came back to our place to celebrate, i later found out the some people brought one of the uprights back to campus and threw it into the reflection pond, now its like a good 20 minute drive back to campus on the highway and all so im suprised no cop pulled them over for having a field goal post hangin outta the back of their truck
this was our first game being in confernce usa so it was definitely a big win, i think we can use the momentum and win a couple more games this year maybe, who knows...but this was my ucf athletics highlight so far so im glad that i enjoyed it
