Has it really been a month?

Ah, I've been away a month already. I have taken to instant blogging on facebook in the form of status updates. That looks like all I can handle right now as BETWEEN US BAXTERS gets ready to launch on 2/26!

I've been consumed with promotional stuff. Designing and printing postcards, getting the website ready to launch. Yes, I know I should have done all this stuff months ago, but it still didn't feel real then. Now, it does, indeed.

Next Friday, I will be doing my first school visit. I'll board a bus here in NYC bound for Boston and on 2/27 will be meeting the gorgeous girls at Newton Country Day School in Needham, Mass. On 2/28 I will be leading some writing workshops and doing a keynote address with fellow author and friend, Kekla Magoon, of THE ROCK AND THE RIVER fame.

Kekla and I have created a little launch of our own. THE MOVEMENT: TWO BOOKS. TWO AUTHORS. ONE POWERFUL PRESENTATION. We've had fun creating a variety of programs and presentations and look forward to visiting a ton of schools. I am more excited than you know to be back in the classroom.

Other goings on...I'll be hosting a book party on 3/9 at this swanky SoHo establishment.

Basically, I am busier than I have ever been! But aside from increasing my coffee intake all is well!
