This song is like, my personal mantra or something. I can't even begin to describe how word-for-word perfectly it sums up my view of life. I never realized it until today, listening to it just now.

really? personally i feel like the mantra can be summed up in the lyric 'the best you can do is forgive'

i feel like 'do you realize' does the job better

"do you realize" is great, but I see it as more of an observation about life than a treatise on how to live life -- do you realize is "life goes fast," end of the road is "stay chill, and it all works out." nearly every line in "end of the line" is about how you should actually live your life, and nearly every line is something I agree with and try to live by.

sidenote, have you heard about the Yoshimi musical they're making? With Aaron Sorkin, the creater of West Wing, Studio 60, and the writer of A Few Good Men (ie, one of the best writers around)? Kind of totally awesome that they're working together, and it's for a musical of Yoshimi, haha.

Not that their lists are worth the paper they're written on, but how is that album not on Rolling Stone's Top 500?
