Yesterday was our fieldtrip. And Ohno's birthday.
Happy Brithday Riida-kun~! May you catch more fishies! XD;; Ohno's all grown-up! :3
We had our fieldtrip in Subic. It was really fun. Our section's shirt color was blue. Lucky, we got the birthday boy's color. XD Anyway we visited Ocean Adventure and Zoobic Safari. I was the first in my section to get to school. On the way there, we watched "Paano na Kaya" in the bus. :)) My favorite line was, "Mahal kita! Gago ka!" ("I love you! You're an idiot!") XD I have to say, the movie was a really cliche. I don't usually watch Filipino movies, but there wasn't much to do in the bus. I was somewhat entertained anyway.
In Ocean Adventure, we were arrived early, so we couldn't get in immediately. We had to wait in the bus, while others went to the bathroom and other people from the other sections walked around freely. >.< Monkeys lived in the forest next to our line of buses, so there were monkeys nearby. A LOT OF MONKEYS. Everyone watched the monkeys live their lives. One climbed on a tree in front of where I stood and stayed on its branches while I watched it. It looked at me once in a while. And would yawn a lot. -_-;; There were also 2 monkeys that did IT. In front of all of us. But they did IT for less than ten seconds.
MOVING ON, before we entered Ocean Adventure, I almost tripped and fell flat on the ground. Almost. It was really embarrassing, but I got over it immediately. ^^;; I've been to Ocean Adventure before, and I loved coming back again. The sea was really good to see, and same goes for all the animals. I took notes of everything, and interviewed the guide with a lot of questions while walking around here and there. Even if I've been there before, I learned new things and watched two shows I didn't even know existed-- Olangapo Jones and The Aeta Survival + The animal show thing. XD We(obviously) saw dolphins, sea lions and other marine animals in the park. And we saw fish. Yes, all kinds of fish on Ohno's birthday!! \:D/We ate lunch from Ocean Adventure in the bus. Too little chicken and too much rice.
At Zoobic Safari, we first visited the the Bone Muzooem and Aeta's trail. I've also been to Zoobic before, but I didn't know anything about the Bone Muzooem or the Aeta's trail. The bone muzooem was full of... bones and animal skins. I wish the animals were already dead when they got those bones and skins. Especially the tiger ones. The Aeta's performed 3 dances, The firefly dance, the monkey dance (monkey acting XD) and the War dance, where the two Aetas were chatting while going around in circles and sprang out at my classmates at the end. :)) We also got the chance to interview an Aeta. After that, we walked on a metal bridge over a place full of living but unmoving crocodiles in Croco Loco.
We got back to the bus and moved to the Forbidden Tree and Cave. I was one of the first in line when we entered the two "caves." First cave: In one part of the cave, there was ANOTHER mini cave seemed dark. Its entrance was covered with black curtains. everyone in front of me got so scared and started pushing everyone else back. I got impatient and went in front instead XDDD So I ended up being the first to enter the second one. It had live animals, but I had no chance to observe because people behind me were shaking the bridges too much and an Aeta made explosion sounds, which surprised a lot of people.
Our next activity was the Tiger Safari ride! Hoping that it would be better than the last time I tried it (the tigers were lazy and didn't do anything), I got on to the jeep and stared at the raw chicken breast on top of the ceiling window. When I got down from the jeep, I concluded that the ride was BORING and I was dissapointed. There were 3 free tigers, but all they did was stare and stay. They were probably thinking, "Ugh. More tourists. Students." "I wish they'd stop shouting at us already." "This happens all the time. It's not like I'm the only tiger existing." After that, the tour guide brought us to the Tiger Closed Encounter, where there are tigers stuck in cages. Our warning was: If the tigers lift their tails up in front of you, move away quickly, because they would spray pee at you to mark their territory. The scent of tiger urine lasts for 3 days. Inside, the stench of urine was so horrible, that almost everyone covered their noses with heir hands. I decided to breathe with my mouth instead. :)) We went to the zoo itself. I was able to touch a camel! Yay! :D Other than that, I've already been to that part of the zoo. And I bought a white tiger and leopard stuff toys as souvenirs :D
The trip back to Manila was okay. Our adviser gave some people demerit points for standing in the bus. We watched Paranormal Activity 2. i haven't seen the first, but the second was boring. It only got interesting in the ending when everyone started getting violent ghost attacks. Then people died. I fell asleep during the movie, but woke up when everyone screamed at some point.
I was supposed to go to
blueguardian16's house, but her bus and
arashi_chuchu's arrived just before ours, and they left me XD I wanted to walk there, but I was afraid I might get lost, so I hitched a ride with a friend and was dropped off at her house. :))
Well, the trip was fun over all, but it still seemed too short for me. I want to go back again with my friends, since I've been there several times already with my family.
And that was how I, along with my batch mates and teachers, spent Ohno's birthday! \:D/
