Y'all know the whole "making fun of Benedict Cumberbatch's name" thing, right? I don't understand this thing, but I acknowledge that it is, in fact, a thing. What I do understand as an academic is the need to over analyze everything! Thus my delight in this post by a linguist doing statistical analysis to determine the rules for goofing with his name and this followup post that includes more details and a Histogram Cumbergraph.
