New Layout Take 2
Thanks to everyone who gave feedback on the last iteration of this layout. Your comments really helped and I think I've got something better overall now. I changed things around so that part of the comic is now in the header and only part is in the main background. I think I like it like this better. I think everything works in FF2 with the LJ navstrip turned on. There are a couple of minor issues in IE7 with the navstrip on, but they are ignorable and I'm probably the only one who would notice them. I suspect that things will be slightly wonky with the navstrip turned off. I've supposedly got LJ set to always show the navstrip on my journal, but I don't know if that actually works or not. If your viewing screen is smaller than 800px wide, you might have some slight wonkiness on the header, but the rest of the page should be fine and even that should be minimal.
