Using chopsticks is definitely very cool. I'm a freak and can only use chopsticks with my left hand, instead of my right hand which is the hand I write with and all that jazz.

Hey you! Long time no see.

There was something I saw the other day that I wanted to tell you... uhhhh... Oh yeah! Steven Saylor's website indicates that the next Gordianus book, The Triumph of Caesar, will be out in May. I feel like this is new news. Is it old news? Did we know that for certain already or not?

I don't think we knew that! I remember reading that he had another Gordianus book coming out SOMETIME, but I don't think we knew the title or the date. I can't wait:) My dad's currently reading the series and he loves it.

I didn't think we knew the specific date or the title. He has hinted before that this book would go up to the assassination of Caesar. Given where the last left off, I could see it getting that far but I could also see this book ending just before that and the next being the assassination and aftermath. I'm not sure how killing the man really works with Triumph.

How old is Gordianus now? 60-something? If the series doesn't end soon, he is seriously going to have to do more with passing the torch to the kids. Not that I want it to end and the books have been getting much closer together in time as the series goes on so he isn't aging as quickly, but still I'm not sure how exciting they can be in the protagonist is 90 or something.

I hate to break it to you, but I don't think you really did it. I think a sexy werewolf charmed them to work for you.

No, no. I really did it. I checked the restaurant and there were no werewolves or wands anywhere in sight.

How do you know by sight if someone's a werewolf? And he probably did wandless magic!

I have a special werewolf detector. The really cool thing is it only works if the holder honestly doesn't want to harm the werewolf in anyway.

That is too complicated of a spell for wandless magic! A regular sticking charm, sure, someone like Remus could pull that off wandlessly. But a sticking charm on chopsticks has to be done just right so it stick while the food is in the air but comes off without the slightest bit of stick in the person's mouth. No way could that be done wandlessly. Especially not at a distance and there were definitely no werewolves at my table.
