So, today I was bombarded whilst attempting to get food. I got caught all alone in the middle of a large, pushy mob. I was hungry, too passive, frightened, and alone. Damn you, scatter system! *shakes fist*
By the time I got food and joined my friends, I wanted to cry and was borderline hyperventilate-y. I'm really glad that this happened today and not two weeks ago because, well, that could have been disastrous.
I love my roommate. I love my friends. You should come visit me.
I'm Assistant Stage Managing for Second Class, the department's fall play. I also have a small part in a student directed play that is raising awareness about the horrid plight of women in the Congo and raising funds for their cause. I'm going to work as a volunteer at the Holland Rescue Mission. =)
Josh went with me to lunch today, even though he'd already eaten just so that I wouldn't have to go by myself. He had some applesauce and kept me company. Afterward, we came back to the room and watched SBemails. He's sweet.
I had to go watch The Wicker Man tonight for my Lit of the Western World class. Nayt went with me, which was really great of him. It is not a good movie, but it IS entertaining. I love that class. We also read Where the Wild Things Are. I read The Epic of Gilgamesh aloud to Josh, Nayt, and Justin. It was hilarity abound.
The boys are playing wii behind me and...I think I'm on top of most of my homework! Holy crap! =)
