"You're a gem"
Adam Neuenschwander came over to hang out with me yesterday. The last time we hung out, it was right after we broke up and we sat in his car, parked at Prospect Park and talked about a lot of really depressing things regarding choices, careers, etc. It was horrid.
Do you know how upset I was when he stood me up at CHS homecoming? I spent the whole time flirting with Jeremy and eventually made out with Lee Bailey. Yeah, it was messed up.
This time we sat in the dark in my basement (accompanied by Sean) and had a blast. He got there and we were upstairs; then my parents got home. My mom smiled and was like, "My golly! It's been a long time!" When we got downstairs Adam said, "I kind of expected her to punch me in the face. And I would've said, 'okay, I deserved that.'"
My mom said later that she "restrained" herself and that if I hadn't previously mentioned working everything out with him, she would have told him to get out of her house or ignored him completely.
And it ended with Adam taking down Sean's number and saying he might hit him up for weed sometime. Which I find hilarious.
