Flashing lights, falling bodies
Yesterday felt like my first day of summer. I slept in, read my book, hung out with Alex, and planned drama day camp. I mean, talking about anything Scotland related doesn't make my "happy list," but the day as a whole was still more relaxing than any other since school ended. Maybe Alex is just the one of the coolest people on the planet. That's probably it.
I took Adam and Robyn to The Parlour to celebrate Adam's birthday, then kidnapped Robyn for the rest of the day. I spend entirely too little time with Robyn, considering how amazing she is and how much fun we have. Adam! I'm planning to steal your girlfriend some more, okay?
Chamber Singers went to DC. We sang at the National Shrine for the Immaculate Conception. It's a beautiful basilica and the acoustics are amazing. Because it was so live, I don't really know how we sounded as a group, but we were sans Mitchell and Josh (those idiots) so that may have helped. Molly said she'd youtube it, so when I have a link I'll post it. Woo.
But hey, we all had a lovely time and Matt talked me into buying an adorable dress that I didn't need and...yeah love to Matty, Carly, Adam, Nikki, Molly, Lewis, Jasen...etc.
Now starts my summer full of running, reading, fundraising, and friends!
