I haven't been to a full day of school since last Monday and I won't again until this Thursday. Gosh, life is kind of ridiculous.
These biology field trips have been really great. No, the content wasn't amazingly interesting/informative, and certain people didn't magically stop being immature and getting on my nerves, but I did get a much needed Carol fix. This whole year I've been so Carol deprived, and then Dominique will tell me silly stories about Carol at the lunch table and I'll just get all pouty in my head like, "Not fair! Carol was my friend first! You're not allowed to interact with her so very much more than I!" So, we've gotten to do fun things like rave a uterus, poke at a dead body, go to Applebee's, and share an iced cap from Tim Horton's (paid for entirely in change)-we even have a classic double straw moment. ^^ Basically, Carol is awesome and it really sucks for me that she won't be around last year and I'm regretting not hanging out with her more this year.
Dominique and I got up and went running at 6am this morning. It was fun. Don't chuckle! Great, now you're guffawing. Well, just you wait, I'm gonna be all super fit and sexy pretty soon! (hah. hah.)
Elizabeth is eating a peanut butter and jelly fold over.
Dominique: The jelly's gonna squirt out on your hand on this side.
Elizabeth tips the sandwich so the jelly will not drip and continues eating, flashing Dominique a smug look
Dominique: Hey, I just wanted to tell you before you got jelly on your hands and made that whiny cat noise. (pause) Okay, the whiny cat noise is kind of cute.
I saw Kelsey in the little top scholars thing (as well as many other friends and aquaintances)...I miss Kelsey. She's gonna be gone soon too...and, like Carol, I barely saw her this year.
Who wants to go see Streetcar with me next weekend?
