Just last week I was telling my mom how Kate and Joey are actually some of my favourite people. I mean, yes, I enjoy them in the theatre troupe setting as educators, etc...but I consider them to be my friends. I love talking to them. They make me laugh.
Joey's got a job in Kansas city that he'll be taking in April. I will miss him so much.
Today we worked with Gayle and Michelle (two people that are being considered for the position)...I like them and all I guess...WAUGH! Gayle does Diverse By Design and I love her bunches. I didn't really like Michelle as a person, but I thought she worked well with the group on a professional level.
It was interesting because Kate asked Neil and I to do the cafe scene from the Dating Violence show for each of them and have them work with us. They have very different styles and approaches, both effective. It was cool to be a part of that process instead of just an observer. Meh.
By the way, Neil, Angel, and I totally rocked out the Dating Violence show for Blue Cross Blue Shield yesterday (since they gave us the grant to do that particular show). Kate came up with the idea of marketing tampons in a gumball machine before getting us lost on the way back because she didn't get reverse directions. Much fun.
Yeah, I got home about five minutes ago. Now I'm running off to a voice lesson that I'm sadly not prepared for. Ah. Freaking shoot me in the face.
