Why does it seem that the people who want what I want are the people who don't want me, and the people who want me don't want what I want?
I see friends with the same ethic/desire for relationships as I have, yet they're just that: friends. No interest in becoming more. The people who I meet who want to date me never seem to have that same view on relationships as I have.
This is a continuous thread I'm finding through so many of the people I've known, both here and in NJ, so I figure it must be something about the way I present myself, or what attracts me to certain people, or something. I guess I need to change something, just not sure what that something is.
Or just prepare to not have a future with anyone I like; only really nice, insular dates.
