old refrains

Digging through my papers during my cleaning binge yesterday, I found my playlist from the first show of the year. Being back in the station felt so wonderful, even though the place was kind of dirty and the computer was broken, another part of a string of equipment failures. But even though I had to press about three buttons more than I wish I had to press with every song the simple routine and pleasure of it was really wonderful. Throughout the year, I've realized more and more how much some little things mean to me, like doing my radio show, and coming home to couches filled with friends late at night. It's a good feeling.
