Work Post Numero Uno

Yours truly has graduated from the mundane life of a student and moved on to greener, more cutthroat pastures of being in the workforce. The reason I took the job at the learning center (I’m currently acting as assistant manager), is because of the good pay and the nearness to my house. I don’t have to deal with the horrible experience of riding ( Read more... )

ZOMG, that was a long post. How you manage to remember all the bitchy/bad things that happen - I have no idea. I tend to forget mine in 5 minutes.

Which is bad, because 1. I have nothing interesting to post. 2. I forget the good things too.

And god - WHAT. A. BITCH. >____>;; Even I feel like just giving her a tight squeeze and break all her bitchy bones. Then again, lung cancer'll just take over. She sounds like Dolly Vargas from the Meg Cabot books. XD

More like Amy Jenkins. I realize my life was taking a turn for the worse when it was beginning to sound like one of her novels.

But it's stressful. I should quit whining and just plain quit, right? Unfortunately, I have to look for another job. Why don't you just send me money while I'm bumming around? That's a good idea, right?

Well, since you're an attractive female, I suppose she'll go nuts. There should be NO attractive females within her vicinity or she gets all catty and tense.

So are you flying over and helping me rid of her?

When did you find out? I had to yank the news out of her. Honestly, some people can't even break exciting news voluntarily.

Thank you for offering your creative pieces of advice, the_bumper_car and schneid but evil plans regarding future “in-laws” have been thwarted. She really has worked hard to change her attitude towards me, and I can tell from her… effort to chase after me now and be nice. Much as I love the drama, I’m also glad that she and I are getting along better after months of being on each other’s nerves.

Buti naman. One less body to bury.

And as for this Jessy: why are you people allowing her to thrive? By people, I mean you and your co-workers in the office who hate her guts? The best way to deal with heinous bitches like that who do nothing but inhale oxygen and exhale venom into the atmosphere is to catch them, in the act, breaking the rules, and getting their ass terminated. Consult your workplace code of behavior if need be. You seem to be on good terms with the owner of the company, why don't you voice your concerns regarding any unethical behavior she's been up to?

Your backyard must smell man. What's the body count?

And as for this Jessy... Angas non ah! Anyway, about your advice. The workplace code of behavior, since it's a start-up, isn't that clarified yet. And I have voiced out my concerns to my immediate superior, not the owner himself. Although I think tomorrow, that's about to change because I'll be knocking on his office and talking to him about all the crap that's going on.

Easier said than done though. So.. you still a hitman for hire or what?

Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies. :D

Oh, definitely, this needs to reach him. Mas lalo na dahil start-up ito - one good fuck up and it could fatally wound the company. Don't go over your sup unless it's absolutely necessary, though - and in this case, I think it is, since mukhang kaibigan mo naman yung owner. The owner of the company doesn't know everything going on - he's too busy looking at the big picture, and probably has only the vaguest idea of office politics, and thus has no idea that this Jessie is a waste of carbon.
