Recommended fic writers

Apparently we just had another Fic Writer Appreciate Day--rather than list off individual fics, I figured I'd share a couple of authors that fall into a very special category: "writers who overtake and replace the source material".

Right now my list for that category stands at 2 entries; I hope to be able to add to it in years to come.

Just curious if you have any favorite SPN writers?

None that I'd make blanket recs for, but I really like some of Gekizetsu's stuff. (I'm very fond of deadlybride/zmediaoutlet, but her stuff's definitely not for everyone, simply because of subject matter. However, she's a great writer and excellent at keeping Sam and Dean plausibly themselves.)

I've read all of Gekizetsu's--Excellent stuff!-- and I am almost positive I found it from your journal.

I've found that writers whose stories I like tend to rec others that I enjoy!

I went and checked out deadlybride, and it's your fault that it's now 1 am and I have to get up for work in 5 hours...

Her stories are riveting--I couldn't stop reading herA Perfect Circle series--I am not a wincest fan in general, but it is so believable in her works, and adds to the heartbreak...
