I've been trying to write this fucking post about this fucking minor glimpse into my life for 5 days now. And hadn't made it past the first sentence. That should probably tell you something about my current existence. Also? I just realized that the amount of overtime I worked last week alone will pay half my mortgage this month. That is cool

Bully for you! I've found that there is a point where one gets so tired of being or feeling a certain way that you just don't care anymore. A wave of what-the-fuck-ever washes over you and suddenly: POOF... freedom, contentment... if only briefly.

Also, Guiness: Yuck. Looks and tastes like motor oil to me... although I think I must have mentioned that to you back in the C&B days so I'll shut up now.

I love gyngerbrede. And oatmeal stouts in general... does Guinness taste like medicine to you also?? Remind me to take you guys to the pub that World of Beer opened in Clearwater... it makes Howie look like a redneck.

Correction on that: USED motor oil. I suspect fresh motor oil tastes much better. It is a bit medicine-y now that you mention it, but it's been a long time.

That oatmeal stout was actually quite drinkable.

my favorite stout is actually called "Old Engine Oil" It's fantastically dark and viscous and puts Guiness to shame.
