Am I awake?
Today was nice, a little stressful but ok. Glad to get the Kegelstatt rehearsal done (it went VERY well) and ready for the concert on Friday. Performance of the composer's piece tomorrow and the Mozart on Friday... two performances that I can check off my list. Woohoo. I'm just glad everything is finally coming together. Feeling a little stupid for overcommitting myself to things, but oh well. You live and you learn. This is what the "real world" is like, anyway.
Weird dream last night... I was reading a book about events that were happening to me at the same time... except the me reading the book and the me in the book were two different people. Basically, I was two places at once. The dream was kind of Treasure Island-ish, mixed in with Lord Jim (and some of Conrad's essays.) Made perfect sense at the time... but when I woke up, I was definitely thrown off guard by finding myself in a comfortable bed as opposed to the high seas... one of those "was that a dream or reality?" type moments. Sometimes my dreams seem more vivid and believable than real life... even if they are about ships. It was exciting though. I think I had a sword.
