“Ruthless,” I whisper, trying to angle my hips so that he can’t avoid it any longer.
“Ah, but the waiting is the best part,” he murmurs, forehead against mine.
He would say that. I groan.
I should be sweating. I miss that. And yet, still, I’m -
“So wet,” he moans, eyes closed.
I seize my advantage and slither onto him. His eyes fly open, and my favorite smile slowly unfurls.
I smirk back at him. “I can be ruthless, too.”
His eyebrows furrow as he tries to resist moving. He fails.
“Touché,” he concedes, hurling me onto my back.
