Cemitério de Vila Formosa, São Paulo, Sunday Evening

Of all the ways Fandom wackiness could have followed Kennedy to South America, she supposed it could have been worse. It had still not exactly been a boatload of fun to have her precious Saturday morning sleep interrupted by a panther jumping on the bed. The ensuing confusion-- look, Kennedy and Willow had been mostly asleep still. Was it really going to go smoothly when a panther appeared (seemingly) out of nowhere, leaped onto the bed, and introduced itself to a Slayer and a witch as a daemon?

Luckily Caedmon (which was his name, as it turned out) wasn't holding it against them; he'd taken it pretty much in stride, actually. He blended in nicely on patrol, too, which was a plus even if it was really weird to... you know, have a panther following her around the cemeteries of São Paulo.

Both of them were brushing bits of dusted vamp off of clothes or fur when they slowed to a halt near a stone bench beneath a lamppost. "Looks like a good place," Caedmon said after sniffing the air, and flopped into the grass.

Kennedy sat down cross-legged, her stake beside her, and sighed as she pulled out her Portuguese textbook. "My thoughts exactly. Big whoop, right?"

Caedmon yawned exaggeratedly, which Kennedy was going to take as an answer. "You do want to pass that test tomorrow, don't you?'

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just let me know if you sniff out any more vamps." She knew this wacky situation wasn't going to last, but why not take advantage of it while she could?

[[an obvious pun is literally the extent of my creativity this weekend. it's sad, really.]]
