Near the Causeway, Sunday Night

She needed to go home. She just did. Kennedy had missed Fandom more than anything during all the time she'd been trapped in her own dimension, but right now she kind of hated it, and all she wanted to do was go home.

Sure, it was just another alternate reality, another one of those wacky Fandom things that didn't really happen, except that she remembered it all. Remembered scaring her students and enjoying it, threatening her friends, helping enforce just about everything she'd always rebelled against (at least in some tiny way). That was bad enough, even if it was easy enough to write off to alternate realities.

The feeling of being under the Imperius Curse for so long, though, that was different-- like a sticky, disgusting film that clung to her and just wouldn't wash away. Getting hit by a spell that made her do things against her will was safely in the top five of her worst nightmares. Ever since the time in Sunnydale, when Willow--

...yeah, that was the thing. She'd be going home to Willow, who was strong enough to cast a spell like that. And she was better these days, not what her friends had all told Kennedy she'd been like, but she could. Plus there was that whole thing that the First Evil had told her, which she should know better than to listen to, because hi, the First Evil, but it stuck with her, just like the memory of the curse. It was a lingering worry she'd thought was gone, because it wasn't just the memories of the dead that the First could twist around on you.

She really did miss Willow, she had a portal scheduled, and she really should go home.

She'd get around to that In a minute. She would.

[[may be sp-ish for a bit, but open! and traumatized. like everyone, really.]]
