She'd been in a good mood all week, and she still sounded cheerful. But if there was fast food with her girlfriend in her immediate future ... well, her baseline cheerfulness would kick up a notch.

Like, graduation was less than two months away, and who knew what would happen then. That kind of everything.
"But I was hoping you'd like her. I'm glad she came with Raven I was worried she'd, y'know, freak about the demon thing there."

"All that stuff I said wasn't just to make an impression, y'know." Kennedy squeezed her hand lightly. "Your mom is awesome, and I think she actually likes me, and she was okay with the demon thing, huh? See above re: awesome."
