[Have a mama coming home from work and pulling up on her motorcycle.

She makes her way to the front door but then catches sight of Aoi hard at work.]

Is that a kimono?

[It's not so recognisable with all that lace and ribbon all over it]

[Looks up from his work and holds up the kimono with the most oh-so-adorable face ever. Yes, he's playing moe blob at the moment.]

Ah yes Mitsuru-san!

[sigh. Aoi you know that never works on not!mother.]

...I wouldn't know of course, but isn't that perhaps a little too much lace?

If you say so.

Is it a commission piece or are you making it for yourself?

Neither. It's a gift.

[He just gives her this look, quickly finishes sewing on a couple more ribbons and then shoves the kimono at her.]

Try it on.

...

That aside, it will look ridiculous on me.

[Have only a temporary glare about the manners bit.]

It won't look ridiculous. Look, I went for a red that's darker than your hair; that'll make your hair stand out more. Then I went for the world's most dullest colors ever to contrast it, black and white. You tend to want to dress with those two colors anyway.

It'll look just fine.

You look I dress dully? I always thought black and white made a smarter impression...

[yeah never heard of just dressing pretty and casual over here.]

No, black and white barely make any impression at all. Gray isn't much better either so don't go there.

In any meeting, black and white won't make you stand out at all. You need vibrant colors.
