Okay, what has happened since Jan. 12th?? Wow! a lot.
All County was awesome, I had two solos, which I hope they turned out good.
S&E, the jazz bands (both) got straight 1s and are going to state. I got a surperior on both trumpet and horn solo, so I'm going to state there (changing my horn solo though). Two of the ensembles I was in are going to state, and the other got an excellent so we're not going.
FBA districts, symphonic band got straight ones! so we're going to state!
FOA districts, orchestra got straight ones, so we're going to state there too!
Our band just rocks, and I'm hoping we can get that one award were you get straight ones in Districts, state, marching FBA, and a few other things. Last year we missed it by one thing, which was sight reading at districts.
Also the reason our bands rocks is because we have awesome people in there, and for those who don't know already, me and Melissa H. are dating. since when? Monday, Feb. 27th, so just over a week. Good times right now for me in the band at SCHS.
