Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. - Lao Tzu

I hope everyone had a great Valentines Day

While all of the lovebirds were busy finding babysitters and getting all geared up for their big dates, I had specifically planned this day to deliver and set up a computer for an Aunt of mine I will call, Rose. She had some major health problems and is very lucky to be alive and up to the last couple of weeks had to live in a bubble when she's not in the hospital. She can have visitors but right now, simple tasks tire her body and she cannot yet walk without help due to weakness but she needs to do her taxes, have a means to communicate with the outside world, and have some fun too.

Rose is directly responsible for my love of big dogs like Great Dane's and German Shephards and whom I have very fond memories of growing up as my Sassy, beautiful and loving Aunt who for reasons not completely clear to me has always held a special place in my heart. I do not have a single memory of her name not evoking a glowing smile on my face and I had looked forward to this day all week with excitement of a child waiting to shower someone with love. At first my family had planned not to go to Melissa with me today - but Its Valentines day, and I wanted to be with my spouse and child too.

My 92 year old Great Grandmother is living with Rose to help out and consequently had been locked into the same bubble Rose was in - visiting them was a double blessing and I'm still high from the overwhelming excitement. I will most likely go to sleep with this smile permanantly attached to my face.

After we wrapped up our visit and kissed everyone good bye, we headed to Plano to enjoy a Tex-Mex dinner together as a family - we also went to several places today with the goal in mind to pick up a keyboard so that Alex can begin Piano lessons. We settled and purchased this one The keyboard was a gift from V to Alex and I for Valentines day and it is perfect for what our little family needs.

We scored !! Being able to explore and create music is very therapeutic for me and it can oftentimes mean the difference between stressful evening af to now an evening where the stressors are not allowed to invade this space. .
When we got home. my son and I played songs on it together - now that he's in bed, i"m about to explore its lesson system and synth engine. V has always wanted to learn how to play Pachebel's Canon and I gotta teach him , it will be interesting,

Friday night, I made A visit to my GP's office to provide a UA.... as I had expected.. I had protein and blood on my UA.
The running around took its toll on my own body a bit today. The edema in my hands and feet are pretty bad right now. I'm not sure if it is the steriods doing that, the Lupus or my kidneys. Either way, I go see my lupidologist and my nephrologist this month @ UT so hopefully the nephrology appointment will give me some good news. The GP gave me flowers for Valentines day some monitoring of my current issues until its time to see the specialist.
I have had minimal Raynaud's symptoms since starting Prednisone.

I'm falling asleep fast lol Love you guys :)
