Tears falling here! A very sad update that makes one realise how his real mother (Debateable)could allow her child to be abused,demeaned and totally traumatised in this way.

I like how you began Ryans session with the end result. (Cool move on your side:))
I hope they find him soon,before he gets more confused about himself as a person and his place in the Cohen family.
This is a very "steep" mountain to climb!.

Mental abuse is the most difficult to heal.(you've depicted that perfectly) The image of a very little, guilt ridden boy is heartbreaking.I would like to see S/K get off their ass and do something for Ryan themselves.,instead of handing him over to a councillor to "fix".I think councelling and combined parental control would be more beneficial to Ryan.(only IMHO). Seth is starting to get invoved at last by getting Ryan out of the house and he's being "protective of Ryan for once!!

I want Ryan to get well soon,but not too soon. I'm selfish ,I don't want this story to end even though it's one of the saddest I've ever read.

This is a brilliant piece of writing. I can't thankyou enough for writing it.

Thanks for your nice comment! I also think that the Cohens can't (and they won't!) let the psychiatrist let all the work. But they've chosen to let him talk about it with Ryan first. They are not equiped to deal with the first step, but they're gonna be there for him soon!
