As I stood in the front attempting to catch someone's brief attention I saw her. She stood, back to me, less than ten feet away. Rage billowed and hate colored my eyes...if only she would turn around. Fantastical ideas raced in my head: I could tell her what she is...maybe I could jump the counter and deck her swiftly across the jaw. The daydreams simply fueled my disgust over the creature.
"Can I help you?"
"Huh?" I'm jerked from my evilly pleasant thoughts, "oh...yeah, can you take this to Chas...thanks."
I turn and walk out the door, she did not even know I was there.
Who would have thought I could hate someone so much I've never met and eventually won out over?
