I'm starting out as an EMT and then going on to firefighter (usually its the other way around. ^_~). If all goes smoothly at my interview with the head EMS guy on Wednesday and I pass the vote on Thursday I should have a key to the fire house, firefighter gear, EMS gear, and two spiffy pagers by Friday. I'm so friggin' excited. Hopefully, instead of taking stupid, mind numbing courses, I'll be going for basic firefighting and the last of my needed psych courses. And then...and then...I can play with the big boys! ooooohh....jaws of life....hhhehehe...the biggest pumper/rescue truck in Niagara County...a bright, shiny new ambulance and fly car! Yes. Excited.
Well, Char's geting out of the shower...time to go watch Sorority Boys and eat cake and ice cream before we both pass out.
