I was thinking a lot about what my life would be like had I not been adopted or had my birth mother had not given me up. Judging by news I get from down there and just what I saw for the 9 and some years I was there...it would've been bad. Very very bad.
I would have probably not received anything remotely like an education.
I would probably be a hooker
I would have probably been pregnant by the time I was 12 or 13.
And I would probably be dead by now.

*and I'd like to thank my birth mother for attempting to give me a better life. (Either that or she just didn't want me). I dont' care, I'm just gladI have the life I do, even with all the trials I have endured.
