it's not all it's cracked up to be
well im not sure
freshman year i was all excited like "whee football games parties woohoo" but that novelty is beyond over. i think its sad how much grades matter, and how much we kiddies value grades far more than what we're actually learning. i wish i could change that. but i dont have the power.
i'm so excited for my pink chucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was more excited when less ppl had them and now everyones getting them and i feel far less special...
ugh my 2nd qtr report card was yicky. man i hate school. but nevertheless i try.

hey you know what sucks? having a shittyass abusive bastard for a father all your life, and then having them change ALL OF A SUDDEN into this nice daddy, and being expected to unconditionally forgive him. unconditionally, without a word, without a question. this guy ruined your self esteem, ruined your pride, ruined your entire fucking life for fifteen years, then abruptly makes this crucially odd turnaround and expects life to continue as normal. well i've got questions that need answering, i have tears that need restitution, i have scars that need remembering, but i dont have the balls to demand that. and its coming to me forgetting all those nights i cried myself to sleep, and all the times i packed myself up to run away, and the times i hid in my room in absolute fear of him. the walls that i built in self defense are crumbling and im too vulnerable.
see this is why people whine in their LJs....it's easy. yeah well this isn't stupid whining.
ps my sister is dumb as shit. a quote from dinner today.
