THE FAERY FAITH
Serena Roney-Dougal
This book takes you on a journey of discovery, to a place where two worlds meet, the world of Faery. Serena Roney-Dougal describes a scientific spirituality with its roots in the ancient past but with profound implications for modern spiritual thinking. Vivid and wide ranging, The Faery Faith sheds new light on the ancient mystery of humanity's relationship to the World of Faery. It relates the Faery Realm to many other things, including magic, terrestrial magnetism, megaliths, apparitions, and UFO reports, showing how The Faery Faith can illuminate them all.

Thats the blurb on the book and it doesn't do it justice IMO. This excerpt from the Introduction gives a better feel of what to expect:
"I don't particularily care for living solely according to belief. I like knowledge and I love wisdom, so what I am trying to do here is give you the results of 100 years of scientific research which validates the oldest mystical philosophy of humans. What I love about the scientific method is that it is so careful. The results of just one experiment are not good enough. Something has to be tested over and over again in many variant different ways before one can say with any certainty that this is so, that this we can trust, this is how it is. So science, which literally means knowledge, is something we can rely on to tell us that, from one perspective, this is how the universe is."
