My new bed is due today, sometime between 8am & 1pm.
It got broke over the summer bank holiday and being an infidel I applied a temporary fix by balancing the broken slats on some spare bibles we have lying around. So that's what six weeks of waiting, well five as I didn't go shopping till the other weekend.
The pump on my central heating went three weeks ago and I'm still without central heating or hot water, and the weathers getting chillier.
Both of these are closer to getting sorted today (people are booked anyway)
In those six weeks Hurrican Katrina,
has been responsible for the death of 970 people Hurricane Rita has added to the chaos but had a very light death toll, then along came Tropical Storm Stan swept through six countries and so far they have confirmed over 750 dead with hundreds still missing.
Then this weekend in Kashmir a Quake struck. The body count is rising but is already in the 1000's.
Puts my little domestic crisis into perspective doesn't it.
