erm no Pontypridd means earth bridge and that stone circle (Carreg Sligo) in the pic its Iolo Morganwg's (mid 18thC) though the rocking stone itself is older.

Bridge of Bridget sigh ok I know they want to make a fast buck but purlease it took five minutes to double check what I already knew. Bridget is Irish with a bit of Scottish thrown in, you'll only find her mentioned in the bits of West Wales where the Irish "settled" briefly in the 6thC, and even then she will be hiding the older local names of the place.
