We have weather
Oh yes the weather is busy doing something, and it would be an insult to my fellow citizens and a breach of a cultural imperative it I didn't mention the fact that it is snowing.
There you have it it is indeed snowing and has been off and on all day in and around Brum. Pretty impressive when watched from the third floor of a corner building. I did like the bit when the rain appeared to be falling from right to left while the snow continued to fall from left to right.
Around 3.30 I decided that driving home early was a good idea. I didn't think the snow was that bad I just wanted to avoid all the drivers who arn't confident driving in weather by leaving early. Unfortunately they did too. It took an hour and a half to do a journey that normally at that time of day would take 45 minutes. It wasn't the country road with little traffic where the snow might have settled that was the problem, it was the roads in town which, well lets face it were just very wet and a bit dark. We can cope with wet people this is England wet & dark is normal.
Jedi is hoping for a snow day tomorrow, so am I don't fancy all those other cars on roads that after a freezing night will need attention paid to them.
