I'm not THAT "out" at work.
I don't hide my sexuality at work, but sometimes I do have to keep myself "toned down" a bit:
Co-worker 1 (to Co-worker 2): "Here's that 25 cents I owe you."
Co-worker 2: "Hey, this is American - I can't use this in the vending machine."
Co-worker 1: "Too bad, sucker!"
Co-worker 2: "No man, I want a REAL quarter back!"
Me (in full-on drag queen voice, but under my breath): "Oh, me too, honey."
I was awfully close to just tossing that in at full volume. I think that would have been a bit much. Actually, I don't know... hard to tell, everyone's been really great around here.
