Thanks! The sales guy where I buy glasses is actually really amazing, he's fitted me with two pairs of glasses so far, and when I need the next, I will be going to him (even though it's quite a bit out of my way now - like, a 45-minute drive each way).
He actually looked at my face carefully, without glasses, and said "You'll look best in glasses which are wide but not tall, you'll want these lower corners to be square-ish to help fill out your jawline (which I subsequently did myself by gaining weight!) You should consider a dark, cool colour to match your skin tone and eyes... tortoise-shell, gun-metal, dark green or blue, but not black or silver. How about... these ones? They'll suit you well and are also one of our least expensive frames - only $120."
I'd been trying on frames for a while on my own (usually rounded, light coloured and not wide enough), and when I put on the pair he selected it was like night-and-day! Ta-da! Perfect!
Seriously, anyone in the Oshawa area who needs new frames, go to Revere Optical, downstairs in the Oshawa Centre mall, and look for a small European man.
