I didn't really need another sewing project, but... this Mandelbrot set fractal quilt is just too freaking cool for me to NOT replicate:
It was found randomly on a Google search for "shapes" and "patterns" - I'm trying to match up the zodiac symbols with simple shapes, to create some cool t-shirt designs (similar to my leo-symbol-inscribed-in-a-5-pointed-star shirt, if you've ever seen it). Something to think about - what simple shape do you associate with your zodiac sign? Possible LJ-poll to come.
