And, almost as soon as I make an update, I have an update related to the update...
Wyvern called me, he and I had talked previously about the Furry Ski Weekend in Colorado, and he'd just spent some time talking with the organizer, who mentioned that there are only 5 spots left in the main lodging area. So, somewhat on a whim and egged-on by Wyv (though I was already pseudo-planning for a significant snowboarding trip with him this winter), I signed up, paid, the whole deal! I'm going to snowboard at Copper Mountain in Colorado this coming February!
