Someone gave me the idea that I could go snowboarding in North Carolina... so I checked into it. Would be a good way to waste Sunday morning, until
cerisewolf gets into town.
Closest slopes to Greensboro seem to be about 2.5h away, near the Tennessee border. I was debating which place I should go to until I came across the following image on
Sugar Mountain's website:
It's a sign! That, and they have a maple leaf as their logo!
So, that settled that. And I'm for sure taking the lion suit, now. AND I can work on upgrading it during the flight, give me something to do! I gotta get info on flying with a snowboard now, too. Rats. I might have to go get a traveling/carrying case for it... which I've been wanting anyway. Hmm.
(For those who have not seen the suit, there are pics and video to view or download at
branwyn.tiger-corp.com, thanks again to
smileetiger for the webspace. You'll have to navigate the gallery, all the fursuit stuff is worksafe but some of the personal pics aren't quite SFW. ;)
Anyone in the area want to come skiing with a Canadian lion on Sunday morning? You could meet me there, or if you're in the Greensboro area or points in between (along Hwy 421), I could even make a slight detour to pick you up. Anyone? Bueller?
